Unlimited is the highest tier Grindr subscription. Unlimited subscribers receive all the amazing features of Grindr XTRA and more.
Getting Grindr Unlimited
To purchase a Grindr Unlimited subscription:
- Login to your Grindr account.
- Locate & select the Grindr Unlimited icon at the bottom of your screen (if you're currently using a free account, this icon will say "XTRA").
- Select Unlimited at the top of the screen.
- Select the subscription you'd like to purchase & tap Continue.
- Continue with either iOS/Android account purchase
iOS / Android account purchase
- You will be redirected to your App Store / Google Play Store to secure payment.
- Use your Touch ID or enter your App Store / Google Play Store details manually.
- Confirm subscription purchase.
Note: Your subscription will be charged through your App Store / Google Play. Make sure that your card details are registered with your store provider OR that sufficient credits are loaded.
Manual purchase
If your account is NOT linked to your Apple ID/Google Play Store, then follow these steps:

Enter your payment information and select Confirm Purchase.

You will see a spinner for 2 seconds while the app upgrades itself.

Select Done on the checkout confirmation page.
For all purchases Grindr accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit card
- Redeem Google Play or Apple App Store Credits (Prepaid Cards or Coupons)
- PayPal (not available in all regions)
- Carrier Billing (not available in all regions)
Please note:
- Google Play Billing is currently in selected territories. Stay tuned for upcoming updates in your region.
- Once the purchase is successful, you will be receiving an Email Confirmation.
- Force quit Grindr to see your subscription reflected.
- All Grindr Unlimited subscriptions will automatically renew until canceled and as outlined in Grindr's Terms of Service, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

Incognito
Incognito is an Unlimited feature that hides your profile from the Grindr grid while still allowing you to freely use the app.
- While using Incognito, you’ll appear offline to people you tap or message.
- No one will see if you view their profile, nor will you show up on Viewed Me lists.
- If your status is Incognito, your Read Receipts will not show up to users who have read receipts enabled.
Going Incognito
- Select your Profile icon.
- Locate the status bar below your display name.
- Online & Incognito are next to one another. Choose Incognito.
- You can switch back manually at any time, just re-follow the steps.
Note: Keep in mind, if your status is Incognito when you leave the app, it will still be incognito when you return.
Chat translation
This function allows our members to translate messages in different languages with one another. This feature is only available to Grind Unlimited members.
To translate messages:
- Long press on the chat you want to translate.
- Once you tap on the "Translate" option, it will automatically pop up the message in your language.
At the moment, chat translation is limited to translating 1,000 characters per day. Also keep in mind that if your Unlimited subscription is canceled, this feature will also be deactivated, and you will receive the following message when trying to translate chats: “Chat Translation has been disabled. Want to activate it again? Go Unlimited."
Unsend messages
You can unsend chat messages you have sent to other users, which will permanently remove this message from all chat members. There is a time limit of 24 hours on unsending a message, after which the option will only be available to delete the message from your side only. To do this, click and hold the message you sent, select “Unsend Message,” then confirm your selection to unsend the message to all chat members.
