Minimum device version required
As of May 2022, Grindr’s minimum device operating system requirement for Android devices is 6.0, and for iOS devices is 13. For security reasons, if your device runs an older version of these operating systems, Grindr will not be supported and you will need to upgrade your device to a compatible version.
The minimum supported versions of the Grindr app are version 8.21.0+ for Android, and version 8.21.0+ for iOS.
