In addition to text and video messages, you're able to send other users audio messages on Grindr. You'll find instructions in this article.
To send an audio message:
- Select who you want to send an audio message to.
- Select the microphone icon (🎙).
- Press and hold the 🎙 - take your finger off the icon to stop recording.
- Keep a finger on the 🎙 and drag down to the trash icon to cancel/delete the message.
Note:
- You have up to 60 seconds to record a single message, once the time is up your audio message will be sent.
- If you see an "Unable to hear audio" message, check your device’s volume and sound settings to make sure volume is up for all media.
- You'll need a strong internet connection to send audio messages (we recommend at least 3 bars). A slow connection can cause problems while processing media.
