Keep track of your favorite connections with chat summaries, an AI-powered feature to help you remember key details from previous connections.
Chat summaries will automatically generate a short review of memorable moments from your chats. When you open a chat, you’ll see a notepad icon at the top of your screen – tapping on it will open and activate your chat summaries.
Summaries are refreshed once daily, so there may be up to a 24 hour delay in your summary content. Your chat summaries are not a part of your public profile, but keep in mind summaries are generated for users you’ve been chatting with as well.

Depending on what’s been shared while chatting, your summaries may include:
- Names
- Contact information, addresses, and social handles
- How long you’ve been chatting
- Any plans to meet up, including future plans or expressed intentions
- Important life updates they’ve shared (what they do for work, where they went to school, recent moves)
- Interests, hobbies, or activities discussed
- Upcoming travel plans
- The overall vibe of your interactions with the other user (ie, casual, flirty, etc)
- Key moments in the conversation
Chat summaries do not include information not mentioned in your conversation, and should never include any user-reported health information from your profile, such as PreP use or HIV status. While the Chat Summaries feature is AI-powered, your personal information is not used to further fine-tune or train the model.
