Why is Grindr collecting this information?
We believe in reducing stigma and facilitating conversations so users can make informed decisions around their health. To help with this, we provide an easy and upfront option to include your health information on Grindr. We do not allow users to search or filter based on your vaccination status, HIV status or last tested date. If you want, we can use your last tested date to send you periodic reminders to get retested. Note that we may sometimes use anonymized, aggregated data to learn about how the Grindr community is using the feature, and to make improvements.
Will this information be shared with advertisers?
