Overview
Your safety and privacy matter to us. If intimate images or videos of you have been shared without your consent, you can request their removal.
What Qualifies as Non-Consensual Intimate Content
You may submit a request if:
- Content that shows you (or someone you’re authorized to represent) nude, partially nude or engaged in sexually explicit conduct; and
- That content was shared without your consent, or was captured when you had a reasonable expectation of privacy.
This includes images or videos you may have originally consented to create but did not consent to have shared. You can report content regardless of when it was created or posted, and regardless of whether it is authentic, AI-generated, or digitally manipulated.
Required Information
To process your request, you must:
- Provide full name, email address & country of residence
- Provide identifiers of the content. The more identifying details you can share, the faster we can find and remove the content*.
- Provide any additional details that may help us locate the content
- Your e-signature
- Confirm that you did not consent to its distribution by completing the certification:
“I declare in good faith that this intimate imagery was published without consent”
*Examples of identifiers of content:
- The profile name or username of the account where the content appears
- Screenshots showing the content in context (chat, profile photo, album, or Right Now post)
- Where on the platform the content was seen (profile section, private album, Right Now post, in chat)
- The city, country, or general region where the account is based, if known
- Any other identifying information about the account: distinctive phrases or details in their bio, social media handles linked from the profile, or anything else that could help us locate the non consensual intimate imagery (NCII).
What you do NOT need to send us:
You do NOT need to send us the intimate image itself. If you have the image on your device and want to prevent it from being shared again across multiple platforms, you can hash it through StopNCII.org. The image stays on your device, and we can block any future uploads matching that hash.
How to Submit a Request
All requests must be submitted through our official Contact Us form: NCII Submission Form
This ensures your request is properly reviewed and prioritized.
Please note:
- You can submit one image or video per report
- Reports must relate to intimate content (nude or sexually explicit media depicting a real person)
- If you are a Grindr user please be sure to provide the email address associated with your profile. This will allow us to address your concerns quickly.
What happens next:
Grindr reviews all requests in accordance with applicable laws and our policies on non-consensual intimate imagery. Where appropriate, we will take action, which may include removing content or requesting additional information to support our review.
If you have additional questions or need further assistance, you can reply to your confirmation email for support.
Important
Submitting false or misleading information may result in legal action and/or action on your account.
