For a trans person, transition means beginning to live as their gender identity. For many trans people, this means changing things like the clothes they wear and the name they go by.
For some people, transition may include taking hormones or having surgeries to align their bodies to their identity. But for others, medical transition can be too expensive or just unwanted.
