iOS: Notifications and Push Messages : Grindr Support

Notifications are a premium feature of Grindr Xtra. Follow the instructions below to make sure they're properly enabled on your iDevice.

1. Open Settings on your device

2. Tap Notifications > Grindr Xtra

3. Set Notification Center to ON

4. Set Alert Style to Banners

5. Set Badge App Icon and Sounds to ON

6. Set View in Lock Screen to ON

Are you seeing notifications with no messages? These will occur in one of two instances:

1. Your profile is synced to another profile on an old or inactive device.

2. Your Grindr profile was not originally created on the device you're using.

You can easily correct the issue. Just reinstall Grindr to your device from the App Store.
