Force stopping Grindr is the most basic  (and effective) troubleshooting step, and will refresh the data on your Android device in addition to resetting your connection to our servers. Give it a try if Grindr's having sign-on or connection issues. 

To force stop Grindr...

1. Open Settings on your device
2. Tap Applications > Manage Applications
3. Tap Grindr > Force Stop > Clear Cache
4. Open Grindr
